Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a similar degree is required.
  • Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.
  • Pass the Board of Certification examination for Athletic Trainers and maintain a National Provider Identifier.
  • Hold an unrestricted state license, registration, or certification in an eligible regulated jurisdiction to provide healthcare within the Athletic Trainer scope of practice.
  • Have five years of relevant Athletic Training work experience, including experience with active populations such as military, high school, collegiate, professional sports, performing arts, or occupational health.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Maintain current physical and immunizations.
  • Lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 20 kilograms/45 pounds.
  • Work on the premises to perform the job.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Athletic Trainer services supporting the United States Marine Corps Sports Medicine Injury Prevention Program.
  • Cover scheduled leave on a Monday-through-Friday, 40-hour-per-week schedule.
  • Contribute to military healthcare by optimizing active-duty service member performance and readiness.
