Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age to work in the Community Living and Support Services program.
  • Provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess a valid Indiana driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Have no felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect, or other disqualifying criminal convictions.
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening.
  • Stand or sit for prolonged periods and occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
  • Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate office equipment, including a computer keyboard.
  • Travel to other locations using private or commercial transportation.
  • Communicate effectively to exchange information.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to client behaviors, staff instructions, safety concerns, and emergencies, including unpredictable or aggressive behaviors.
  • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
