  • Use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Have flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Meet regular travel requirements, including some overnight travel as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Prepare for onsite installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating onsite work as necessary.
  • Inspect vehicles by checking their condition and cleanliness.
  • Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service.
  • Maintain equipment by inspecting for signs of wear and notifying the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Document work by completing job paperwork and maintaining files, including daily time, progress, duration, parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data; return unused resources.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
  • Determine which parts to order for repairs and when they are needed.
  • Turn in required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Keep current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Read and interpret product specifications.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
