Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Logistics, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or materials management is required.
  • Leadership experience in warehouse operations is required.
  • Experience in high-tech electronics, electronics manufacturing services, semiconductor, or related manufacturing environments is required.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and enterprise resource planning systems is required.
  • Experience with barcode scanning, inventory management technologies, and material traceability is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all warehouse activities, including receiving, incoming inspection coordination, storage, picking, kitting, staging, shipping, and cycle counting.
  • Ensure uninterrupted material flow to surface-mount technology, printed circuit board assembly, box build, system integration, and final assembly production lines.
  • Develop and maintain efficient warehouse layouts that maximize space utilization and material accessibility.
  • Establish and monitor warehouse key performance indicators for inventory accuracy, on-time material delivery, dock-to-stock time, order picking accuracy, shipping accuracy, inventory turns, and warehouse productivity.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy of 99% or greater through robust inventory control processes.
  • Manage cycle count programs and annual physical inventories.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Optimize inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete material.
  • Ensure first-in, first-out and first-expired, first-out inventory management where applicable.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.
  • Ensure timely material availability to support production schedules and customer deliveries.
  • Coordinate material shortages, expedite critical components, and support production recovery plans.
  • Manage domestic and international shipping operations.
  • Ensure compliance with customer shipping requirements and export/import regulations.
  • Coordinate with freight carriers, third-party logistics providers, and customs brokers.
  • Optimize freight costs while maintaining delivery performance.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and warehouse personnel.
  • Establish performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop succession plans and employee cross-training programs.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
  • Implement 5S, visual management, standardized work, and waste reduction activities.
  • Utilize 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone root cause analysis methodologies to resolve operational issues.
  • Drive warehouse automation and digital transformation initiatives when applicable.
  • Ensure accurate transactions within enterprise resource planning and warehouse management systems, including SAP and Oracle.
  • Maintain material traceability required for electronics manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45000, Electrostatic Discharge requirements, Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, and Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
Desired Qualifications
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience supporting surface-mount technology and printed circuit board assembly operations.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards and electronics component handling.

Chinese firms hit record overseas revenue on AI demand and EV expansion

Chinese companies reached record overseas revenue in 2025, led by PetroChina, Foxconn Industrial Internet, BYD and Luxshare Precision Industry. PetroChina's overseas crude output rose 1.8% to nearly 168 million barrels, whilst FII reported 56% of revenue from mainland factories and over one-third from its Mexico plant. FII's growth was driven by demand for AI servers. BYD expanded abroad as domestic competition intensified, with 2025 net profit falling 19% year-on-year, though overseas markets reportedly offer higher margins above 28%.
