Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Five to seven years of work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines or processes related to the position.
  • Excellent presentation, written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn Agency Management and Imaging Systems.
  • A Life and Health resident agent license is required.
Responsibilities
  • Present in-depth financial renewal analyses, including renewal underwriting workups, plan value analyses, contribution strategy analyses, self-funded analyses, and aggregate reports.
  • Participate in sales presentations and represent and discuss the Client Manager role.
  • Participate in industry events, including carrier functions and BAN events, to continue professional development within the industry.
  • Prepare and present quarterly reports, including year-end wrap-ups, quarterly stewardships, and monthly reports.
  • Prepare and present strategic assessments for prospective and existing clients.
  • Prepare and send requests for proposals.
  • Conduct renewal analyses, including renewal negotiations, brainstorming creative solutions, funding strategies, and contribution strategies.
  • Use available technology platforms for enrollment and plan communication.
  • Lead new or renewal product and vendor implementations.
  • Lead open enrollment meetings.
  • Develop communication materials in conjunction with the Creative department.
  • Assist with Affordable Care Act reporting activities, including vendor solicitation and implementation and calculating fees for PCORI and TRF.
  • Assist with benefits administration vendor selection and implementation.
