Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field is required, although five additional years of experience in a Systems Administrative or Watch Desk position may substitute for the degree.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Watch Desk Analyst is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems administration and industry best practices is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience providing Tier 1 Help Desk and Tier 2 Escalation problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution is required.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work under the technical direction of senior staff is required.
- Experience performing under varying levels of urgency and meeting deadlines is required.
- Experience communicating and documenting technical issues, risks, and approaches to direct reports, peers, superiors, and clients is required.
- Experience providing support for escalation and communicating status to agency management and internal customers is required.
- Experience gathering requirements based on user feedback and feature requests is required.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- The candidate must be willing to work the Panama Shift.
Responsibilities
- Support a dynamic operational environment in a System Administrator and Watch Desk position.
- Check for system vulnerabilities and manage various data flow and Watch Desk projects.
- Provide request management support, including account creation, removal, transfer, grouping, and password management.
- Provide storage allocation, locality, recovery, backup, and restoration support.
- Support Windows operating systems, including installing and loading operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining system integrity, and configuring network components.
- Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Provide detailed documentation.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Watch Desk Support experience.
- Information Assurance Technical certification.
