About the job

Requirements
  • Completed vocational training with further qualification as a Meister or Techniker, or completed university studies in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar field, such as biotechnology, biology, pharmacy, or biochemistry.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience, including leadership of larger cross-functional teams; pharmaceutical technical production experience and knowledge of aseptic manufacturing are desirable.
  • Initial project experience is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of technical and organizational processes.
  • Very good German and good English language skills, spoken and written.
  • Very good computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the timely, cost-optimized, and quality-compliant visual inspection of parenteral medicines, including manual and semi-automatic inspection, unloading, crimping, and external washing.
  • Provide disciplinary and professional leadership for subordinate employees.
  • Manage and optimize staffing, including staff training and development.
  • Own the cost center and plan the budget.
  • Reduce inspection lead times.
  • Standardize and monitor inspection, logistics, and organizational processes in line with Lean Manufacturing principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with current cGMP rules while considering customer requirements.
  • Support the preparation and timely processing of change-control-required modifications in collaboration with process engineers.
  • Ensure and optimize the GMP batch documentation system, and record and assess quality-relevant trends.
  • Develop the EMS system by implementing 6S measures and visualizations on Standardized Metric Boards, A3s, and control charts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Pharmaceutical technical production experience and knowledge of aseptic manufacturing.
  • Initial project experience.
