What this role is all about
Do you want to actively shape the digital future of our company? As a Lead Developer / Architect (m/f/d) - Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC), you will take overall technical responsibility for our ERP architecture. In this role, you will define standards, develop sustainable solution approaches, and, together with our development teams, ensure a modern, scalable, and future-proof system landscape. You combine strategic architectural thinking with pragmatic execution and actively drive the further development of our platform.
Your day-to-day work
- You are responsible for the architecture and strategic evolution of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) platform
- You design scalable, maintainable, and upgradeable solution architectures for our ERP landscape
- You define technical standards, best practices, and governance guidelines for development and operations
- You translate business requirements into sustainable technical concepts and architectural decisions
- You design integration and interface architectures connecting internal and external systems
- You establish high quality standards through code reviews, architecture governance, and technical guardrails
- You support developers through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance while driving modern DevOps and CI/CD processes forward
This role is a great fit for you if ...
- You hold a degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of relevant professional experience developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC), including experience designing and owning Business Central architectures
- You have solid knowledge of AL, Extensions, APIs, integrations, and modern extension concepts
- You stand out through your experience in developing scalable, maintainable, and upgradeable solutions
- You have strong knowledge of SQL databases as well as integration and interface architectures
- You are eager to take on technical leadership, support the professional development of developers, and bring excellent German and English language skills
