Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with CMPro.
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET.
Responsibilities
  • Support configuration management activities by researching and maintaining configuration-controlled data within CMPro, including drawings, parts lists, technical documentation, and product baselines.
  • Maintain requirements within software management systems by creating, updating, organizing, and tracing system, subsystem, and software requirements while ensuring complete end-to-end traceability.
  • Conduct configuration and requirements research to support engineering change proposals, MBPS/PDM initiatives, technical reviews, and engineering decision-making by providing accurate technical data and reports.
  • Partner with Systems Engineers and Configuration Managers to maintain technical baselines, support engineering change activities, and ensure accurate traceability between system requirements and configuration-controlled technical data.
  • Generate reports, traceability matrices, and configuration documentation to support design reviews, audits, testing activities, and customer deliverables.
  • Participate in technical meetings, track action items, resolve configuration and requirements discrepancies, and support continuous process improvement with Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, and project stakeholders.

  • Experience supporting Navy or Department of Defense engineering programs.
  • Experience with configuration management principles.
  • Experience working with relational databases or Visual Basic for Applications macros.
