Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Hospitality, or a related field is required.
  • At least three years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, property management, operations, or another service-focused environment is required.
  • Experience leading teams, managing performance, and driving accountability is required.
  • Strong business acumen and an interest in financial and operational leadership are required.
  • The ability to influence others, make decisions, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, and leadership partners is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • The ability to learn operational, financial, payroll, human resources, and resident-management systems is required.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between designated communities as needed are required.
Responsibilities
  • Learn the operations of each community department and how those functions work together to support residents, employees, and business performance.
  • Participate in daily leadership meetings, operational reviews, and community stand-ups.
  • Support the Executive Director in overseeing daily community operations and resolving operational challenges.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, collections, expense management, and performance tracking.
  • Review community performance indicators related to occupancy, revenue, labor, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leaders to support occupancy goals, outreach strategies, upcoming move-ins, and resident transitions.
  • Gain experience with recruiting, onboarding, payroll, timekeeping, employee relations, coaching, performance management, and retention.
  • Build relationships with residents and families while helping address questions, concerns, and service needs.
  • Learn applicable company policies, regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and risk-management practices.
  • Participate in community events, resident programming, department meetings, and leadership initiatives.
  • Support department leaders in maintaining established budgets, service standards, staffing expectations, and operational goals.
  • Complete structured learning assignments, leadership assessments, and developmental milestones throughout the program.
  • Accept increasing responsibility for community operations as skills, judgment, and leadership capabilities develop.
Desired Qualifications
  • Senior living experience is highly valuable, and leaders from healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, property management, and other complex service environments are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with independent living, assisted living, or memory care operations is valuable.
  • Willingness to relocate for the right leadership opportunity is desirable.
