Responsibilities
  • Perform First Article and Final inspections using pin gauges, calipers, micrometers, rulers, optical comparators, and Keyence systems.
  • Maintain compliance with Quality Systems, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and company policies.
  • Review Medical History Record documentation for accuracy, traceability, and adherence to good documentation practices.
  • Document inspection activities, receiving information, quarantine actions, Technically Complete steps, material release, and scrap decisions within the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and regulatory teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist production team members in understanding inspection techniques, quality standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Identify quality trends, nonconformances, and process improvement opportunities to enhance medical device quality.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least two years of related quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or medical device environment.
  • Experience using optical comparators or Nikon vision systems.
  • Experience working with the SAP enterprise system.
  • Entry-level understanding of inspecting raw materials, components, and subassemblies.
