Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • A strong interest in learning and development, adult education, and fostering a culture of continuous growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset for supporting internal users.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role, particularly within a learning or HR context, is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the global Learning calendar, ensuring awareness and collaboration with key teams who deliver learning content across the business.
  • Schedule and set up training on our learning Experience Platform (Sana Labs), manage registration lists, and send out calendar invitations with program details.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for registrants regarding program schedules, re-scheduling, and technical issues. Send out pre-training information and post-session follow-up messages and/or materials. Follow up with potential participants to encourage active engagement in programs.
  • Support communication and coordination with external training vendors, which may include processing payments and ensuring they have all necessary information for successful sessions.
  • Update and review training content, ensuring appropriate naming conventions, folder structures, and correct tagging/categorization.
  • Manage user enrollments, track completion rates.
  • Provide first-line support to employees experiencing issues with the learning platform (e.g., difficulty accessing content).
  • With guidance, create new e-learning modules and learning paths, specifically focusing on transversal/core libraries.
  • Research and upload relevant articles, videos, and other resources to the learning platform to enrich our learning libraries.
  • Draft and schedule internal communications, such as newsletters, Slack posts, emails, and intranet page updates, to promote upcoming training and share learning success stories.
  • Assist in creating visually appealing marketing materials (e.g., video reels) to advertise Learning initiatives.
  • Support the management of internal learning communities, encouraging discussion and knowledge sharing among employees.
  • Administer post-training and program evaluation surveys, analyze survey data, and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards (e.g., for managers and C-level stakeholders) that track key metrics.
  • Support the annual training needs analysis process by helping to design surveys, collate responses, and perform initial data analysis.

Hearst UK strengthens commercial division with three senior appointments. Hearst UK has announced the appointments of Sarah Newton Boyd as Head of Partnership Solutions, Joe Grimsdale as Head of Hearst Global Solutions in the UK, and Sylvain Foucat as Head of Revenue Optimisation. These hires follow the arrival of Alex Unitt as Chief Commercial Officer, whose appointment brought Hearst UK's Client & Agency Sales and Brand Diversification divisions under a single leadership for the first time. In the newly created role of Head of Partnership Solutions, Sarah Newton Boyd will oversee Hearst UK's licensing and commerce partnerships. With over 30 years' experience across media sales, marketing and commercial content, she joins from Haymarket where she was Partnerships Director. Prior to this, Newton Boyd was Managing Director and Co-Owner of CREW Agency Ltd, where she led the development of integrated creative and digital campaigns. She has also held senior positions at organisations including Telegraph Media Group. As Head of Hearst Global Solutions in the UK, Joe Grimsdale will lead the global sales team based in London, delivering multi-market brand activations.
