- A technical education in industrial maintenance, construction-equipment maintenance, agricultural-equipment maintenance, or a related technical field, at BEP, Bac Pro, or BTS level.

- Maintain workshop activity-tracking documents, including revision checklists, equipment records, and intervention reports.
- Prepare progress reports on work against established objectives.
- Manage the stock of parts and consumables.
- Maintain equipment through servicing and repairs and ensure regulatory inspections are properly completed.
- Diagnose breakdowns and, when necessary, perform repairs at client sites.
- Check interventions and repairs carried out by subcontractors.
