  • Demonstrated experience delivering similar work within insurance, financial services, Consumer Duty programmes, Conduct Risk programmes, Product Governance transformations, or Distribution Oversight reviews.
  • Experience implementing FCA Consumer Duty requirements.
  • Experience with Product Governance and Product Oversight & Governance frameworks.
  • Experience conducting Fair Value Assessments.
  • Experience with customer outcome monitoring.
  • Experience with distribution and third-party oversight.
  • Experience designing governance frameworks.
  • Experience with process mapping and procedure development.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders.
  • Strong regulatory knowledge within UK financial services.
  • Strong document writing and framework development capability.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong stakeholder management across first- and second-line functions.
  • Structured problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Word, and Excel capability.
  • Experience producing governance documentation for senior stakeholders and regulators.
  • Availability to participate in an initial interview with Moorhouse and a subsequent interview with the client.
Responsibilities
  • Assess current-state product governance and distribution oversight arrangements.
  • Design practical governance frameworks, controls, and monitoring processes.
  • Develop procedures, templates, guidance documents, and supporting materials.
  • Facilitate workshops with business, compliance, risk, and operational stakeholders.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into workable business processes.
  • Establish customer outcome monitoring approaches and governance reporting.
  • Support implementation and embedding of new governance processes.
  • Produce clear, audit-ready documentation suitable for regulatory scrutiny.
  • Track delivery of actions and support programme governance activities.
  • Take ownership of the design, development, and implementation of Product Governance and Distribution Oversight deliverables, including distributor risk assessment and audit frameworks, distribution oversight frameworks, customer communication and journey testing frameworks, customer outcome monitoring frameworks, Fair Value Assessment frameworks and procedures, and product change governance processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Insurance sector experience.
  • Experience working within Consumer Duty remediation or enhancement programmes.
  • Knowledge of delegated authority or intermediary distribution models.
  • Consulting experience.
  • Experience operating within large transformation programmes.
