Peak Design's Field Bracket Kickstarter campaign has surpassed $600,000 in funding, with photographers and creators having just one more day to back the company's latest camera accessory at its Kickstarter pricing. Peak Design's latest Kickstarter campaign is entering its final hours, and the response has been substantial. The Field Bracket campaign has now passed the $600,000 funding milestone and has attracted thousands of backers since launching in July. With just one day remaining, interested photographers and camera enthusiasts have a limited amount of time to participate in the campaign before it comes to an end. A modular take on the traditional l-bracket. The Field Bracket is designed as a camera-specific, modular L-bracket system for a range of popular mirrorless cameras. There's a 15-liter and 22L City Backpack, 15L City Tote, 6L and 12L City Crescent crossbody bags, and 2L City Sling. Peak Design rethinks the L-bracket with modular Field Bracket - Camera jabber. 5 2 minutes read Peak Design is taking aim at one of photography's most overlooked accessories with the launch of the Field Bracket, a modular support system that promises to make the traditional L-bracket considerably more versatile. Rather than treating an L-bracket as a permanent fixture on your camera, the new design allows photographers to reconfigure the setup in seconds without reaching for a hex key. The Field Bracket is built around a model-specific baseplate that contours to individual camera bodies while maintaining access to battery compartments and camera ports. From there, users can quickly attach or remove the vertical upright depending on whether they're shooting in landscape or portrait orientation, effectively transforming the bracket from a full L-bracket into a slim baseplate whenever a lighter setup is preferred. Peak Design has also designed the system to work as a modular platform rather than a single-purpose accessory.
