About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience is required, preferably in a school or educational environment.
- Strong knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and human resources systems is required.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism is required.
- Supervise and manage day-to-day human resources operations for teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, attendance, leave, performance, and offboarding.
- Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, résumé screening, interviews, and reference checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and human resources documentation.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, leave, and absenteeism in accordance with school policies.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, employment regulations, and applicable labor laws.
- Support implementation and consistent application of human resources policies and procedures.
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.
- Assist with performance management, appraisals, disciplinary procedures, and staff development.
- Prepare human resources reports, staff statistics, attendance reports, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with school leadership and department heads regarding staffing and employee-related matters.
- Support staff engagement, welfare, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure human resources information is handled with a high level of confidentiality.
- Stay updated on human resources best practices and relevant employment regulations.
- Experience in a school, educational institution, or similar organization is preferred.
