About the Position:
Join Upfield’s dynamic IT team as a Regional IT Services Coordinator, based in our London office near Waterloo. This onsite role is essential for ensuring top-notch IT service delivery across Europe and the UK, requiring coordination with regional stakeholders, management of supplier relationships, and hands-on support for various IT functions.
As the Regional IT Services Coordinator, you will be at the helm of coordinating and delivering IT services in line with our business objectives. This role involves active collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services across the region.
Key responsibilities:
- Regional Coordination: Manage incident and request resolutions, coordinate with site contacts, liaise with technical experts, and oversee IT-related site activities.
- Regional Supplier Management: Handle contracts, procurement, and performance of local 3rd party technical support suppliers.
- VIP Support: Provide exceptional IT support to VIPs, ensuring high-level service experience.
- Governance and Coordination: Track deliverables and manage escalations in partnership with local IT teams.
- Business Partnership and Project Team Collaboration: Align IT services with business goals and project requirements.
- Audio-Visual Equipment Support: Conduct maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and manage AV equipment.
- IT Peripherals Management: Maintain standard issue devices and manage stock and technical issues.
- Multi-function Printers Management: Oversee daily printer operations and provide support.
- Laptop Management: Manage laptop processes, assist Field Service Engineers, and handle laptop-related tasks.
- Hardware Disposal and Field Service Engineer Support: Facilitate hardware disposal and support on-site engineers.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in IT operations or technical support.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Vendor management and contract handling experience is advantageous.
