The AP Curriculum and Assessment (C&A) Team at College Board (70+ staff) collaborates with colleagues across all aspects of the AP Program to develop, manage, and deliver AP’s 40+ courses in a wide variety of subject areas. AP® is a rigorous academic program built on the commitment, passion, and hard work of students and educators from secondary schools and higher education. AP provides willing and academically prepared high school students with the opportunity to study and learn at the college level.
As a key player on our team, you are dedicated to advancing educational opportunities through critical support and collaboration. Youensure the smooth execution of events, supporting leaders to ensure maximum capacity and providing outstanding service to a number of team members and partners. Your impact is felt through seamless logistical planning and support for our Development Committee meetings, where your coordination efforts enhance the effectiveness of our educational programs. You will work closely with senior leaders, fostering productive relationships across divisions to drive our mission forward.
Provide Development Committee Support: (65%)
Host and attend 10-15 Development Committee weekend meetings in Reston, VA
Provide logistics support for Development Committee meeting planning,
Assist with reimbursements, honoraria, contracting, invoices and other various payments throughout the year to ensure the Development Committee operations runs smoothly and timely
Manage all aspects and have command of the Development Committee’s CEU hours and certificate distribution
Manage Workflow and Provide Administrative Support: (35%)
Manage VP calendar, maintaining a command of all meeting details and requests from across the organization, while ensuring leadership can balance numerous competing priorities
Serve as the “first line of defense” for logistical and administrative issues, seeking to resolve swiftly and proactively
Respond to internal and 3rd party inquiries, and/or escalate issues, as necessary
Application review will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled

The hiring range for a new employee in this position is $40,000 to $70,000.CollegeBoard differentiates salaries by location so where you live will narrow the portion of this range in which you can expect a salary.
Your salary will be carefully determined based on your location, relevant experience, the external labor market, and the pay of CollegeBoard employees in similar roles. CollegeBoard strives to provide our best offer up front based on this criteria.
