AEVEX expands Florida and Virginia facilities to scale autonomous systems production.

AEVEX expands Florida and Virginia facilities to scale autonomous systems production. * 10 September 2026 * Edited By: Ed Freeman AEVEX Corp., a leading US defense technology company delivering autonomous unmanned systems, AI-enabled mission software, and advanced ISR and EW solutions, today announced expansions of its corporate footprint in Florida and Virginia to meet growing production demand and to enhance collaboration with US government customers and industry partners. (Credit: AEVEX) The investments expand AEVEX's manufacturing capacity and customer-facing infrastructure to support AEVEX's rapid scaling and to meet increasing demand for battle-proven autonomous systems. "Customers are increasingly looking for proven autonomous systems that can be delivered at scale and on shorter operational timelines," said Roger Wells, Chief Executive Officer of AEVEX. "We are investing to stay ahead of that demand - expanding our production capacity, putting our teams closer to the customer, and building the infrastructure needed to execute as the market continues to grow." In Florida, AEVEX is significantly expanding and consolidating its Tampa manufacturing operations to support rising production requirements and establish additional capacity for future growth. The investment is expected to more than double production capacity over the next year while providing greater operational flexibility to respond to customer demand. Tampa's position within a major US defense and national security hub enhances AEVEX's proximity to key customers, partners, and mission stakeholders. The new footprint will include a large-scale ecosystem designed for high-volume production, dedicated space for AEVEX's expanding additive manufacturing and Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) operations, and increased capacity for manufacturing, engineering, technical, and program personnel. "Scaling production is about more than just adding space - it is about creating the operational capacity and customer proximity to move quickly as mission requirements evolve," said Murali Krishnan, Chief Growth Officer at AEVEX. "The Tampa expansion gives us greater flexibility to increase throughput, work closely with customers, and deliver mission-ready systems at the speed and volume they require." AEVEX has also secured new dedicated office space in Arlington, Virginia, establishing an expanded hub for close collaboration with US government customers, defense partners, and other national security stakeholders. The location will support teams working across unmanned systems programs, autonomy integration, engineering, program execution, and customer engagement, enabling tighter coordination as mission requirements evolve and new programs move from development to fielding. "Proximity to the customer is critical to how we operate," said Krishnan. "The Virginia office will allow our teams to collaborate more closely with customers, better understand evolving mission requirements, and move quickly to deliver the capabilities they need." The Florida and Virginia investments form part of AEVEX's broader strategy to increase manufacturing throughput and build the infrastructure required to support continued growth across its autonomous systems business. Here are the key news stories impacting AEVEX this week: * Acquisition expands maritime and autonomous-systems capabilities. AEVEX completed its acquisition of BlackSea Technologies, adding unmanned surface and subsea vessels and creating a Maritime Systems division. Management says the deal strengthens AEVEX's position in multi-domain autonomous systems, AI-enabled mission software, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and electronic warfare. AEVEX also completed the acquisition of Maritime Applied Physics from BlackSea Technologies. * The legal deadline is October 20, 2026. Several firms are seeking investors who purchased AEVEX Class A shares in or traceable to the April 2026 IPO, or during the stated class period, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff. The repeated announcements largely provide similar information and do not represent a new court ruling or determination of wrongdoing. * Class-action publicity remains an overhang. The lawsuits allege securities-law violations concerning AEVEX's IPO disclosures and events surrounding the waiver of the 180-day IPO lock-up. One legal notice says approximately $900 million in market value was erased over two June trading sessions after the lock-up waiver was disclosed. Kaplan Fox reminds AEVEX Corp. (AVEX) investors seeking recovery of the lead plaintiff deadline on October 20, 2026. Aug. 31, 2026, 11:35 AM New York, New York-(Newsfile Corp. - August 31, 2026) - Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against AEVEX Corp. ("AEVEX Corp" or the "Company") (NYSE: AVEX) on behalf of investors that purchased or otherwise acquired AEVEX Corp Class A Common Stock pursuant and/or traceable to the Company's initial public offering on or about April 17, 2026 ("IPO"), or between April 17, 2026 and June 4, 2026 (the "Class Period"). If you are an investor in AEVEX Corp and have suffered losses, you may CLICK HERE to contact us. You may also contact Kaplan Fox by emailing [email protected] or by calling (646) 315-9003. If you have losses we encourage you to contact us to learn more about the lead plaintiff process. You need not seek to become a lead plaintiff in order to share in any possible recovery. The complaint alleges, that the offering documents for the IPO (the "Offering Documents") were materially false and/or misleading and contained material omissions at the time they were made. Specifically, the Offering Documents allegedly conveyed a commitment to follow a 180-day "lock-up" and therefore prevent private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC ("Madison") from selling its Class A common stock or converting or exchanging its Class B or LLC Units into Class A common stock for public sale until at least October 13, 2026, while simultaneously concealing a pre-arranged plan between Madison and the Underwriter Defendants to prematurely abrogate that commitment and allow for a secondary public offering ("SPO") shortly after the IPO. Through that SPO, Madison allegedly would earn over $200 million and the Underwriter Defendants would share in a further $8-plus million in fees. WHY CONTACT KAPLAN FOX?
