About the Job

Requirements

  • Experience in home support (SAD) is required for one assignment.
  • Training in OCCI is required for one assignment.
  • Experience in DITSA-DP is required for one assignment.
  • A valid first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required.
  • Training under Loi 90 is mandatory.
  • Previous experience intervening with vulnerable groups is required.
  • A college diploma or bachelor's degree in specialized education, social work, or a related field is required.
  • A valid vehicle and driver's license are required.
  • Must be able to travel to remote regions and have schedule flexibility.
  • The role requires working with an entirely English-speaking clientele for one assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany individuals facing unique challenges and support their holistic development.
  • Promote inclusion, improve social skills, and support the autonomy of the people served.
  • Collaborate with community partners and professionals to create learning-supportive environments.
  • Develop and implement health promotion strategies and programs.
  • Design and facilitate workshops for community members on health-related topics.
  • Support people requiring help with health-related situations, including pregnancy, birth, infant care, or disability.
  • Create healthy-lifestyle information and education materials for beneficiaries.
  • Inform the public about local health and social services.
  • Work with organizations, government agencies, social groups, and community groups.
  • Use presentation software and word-processing software.
