  • BSc in numerate engineering sciences, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Optical Engineering, or Chemistry
  • MSc or PhD with aspects of semiconductor fabrication, electron microscopy, surface science, image analysis, optics in the coursework
  • Good statistics and analysis skills
  • Coding skills in Labview, Matlab, Python
Responsibilities
  • Serve as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects
  • Optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements
  • Check and approve operational quality of system equipment
  • Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
  • Provide on-site installation, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair complex equipment and systems
  • Demonstrate expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • Solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus
