Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; A Business degree such as MBA would be an advantage.
  • 8+ years experience in designing, implementing, and solving technical problems of the state-of-the-art Datacenter, IP/MPLS networks; high exposure to network operations; ability to operate independently, including management of priorities in an unstructured environment.
  • Deep understanding of core IP networking concepts (TCP/IP, QoS, VLAN, STP, IPSEC, NAT, IPv6); reasonable expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols such as VRRP, OSPF, BGP, Multicast, MPLS VPN; experience with customer facing roles is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Represent Juniper customer service to the customer and as representative of the customer back to Juniper.
  • Act as a single point of contact for post-sales customer service issues in the account for the customer, partners, and account team; understand customer lifecycle to deliver efficiency and effectiveness to the customer.
  • Support the account/customer with alignment to services sales and product sales activities.
  • Track and manage the deliverables of Juniper Premium Care, Juniper Care Plus (JCP), Juniper Optimum Care (JOC), Advanced Customer Support (ACS), and advanced options including credits and training credits for the customer or partner.
  • Help support cases resolved as per SLAs and expedite/escalate critical issues among Juniper technical support teams; provide relevant technical inputs to facilitate and expedite escalated problem resolution.
  • Proactively escalates and brings people with required expertise together in order to bring critical and important issues to closure.
  • Act as an interlock between Customer and Juniper Professional Services, Advanced Services and Education Services for the services to be delivered to the customer.
  • Coordinate and oversee all customer service delivery into the account; maintenance of the support plan for the account, in cooperation with the Service Business Manager (SBM).
  • Early engagement regarding major projects to consider service requirements, risk management, and expectation setting with the account team, partners, and customer.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with customer to review Juniper service delivery metrics, SLA and quality.
  • Establish a customer specific operational status and reporting framework (using ITIL), and lead in the delivery and presentation of status reports.
  • Review and assess open software defects; discover potential risks associated with deployment plans and partner with the customer to develop mitigation plans.
  • Deliver proactive consulting services such as technical analysis and recommendations (Impact assessment and analysis, health check analysis, software upgrade analysis, config review, etc.).
  • Partner with Customers in conducting periodic Juniper product health checks to identify potential product improvement areas; make relevant recommendations to optimize operational performance with respect to design/topology/configuration.
  • Review and evaluate network plans and assist in planning of new feature implementation and product deployment; collaborate with internal teams to resolve identified risks in software.
  • Engage with Juniper engineering teams to improve potential quality issues with products.
  • Document and maintain customer network solutions knowledge and educate other internal Juniper resources for a better support experience.
Desired Qualifications
  • Segment Routing, Traffic Engineering, Data Center switching, VXLAN, EVPN, SD-WAN & Wireless technologies; knowledge and experience with these newest technologies is a plus.
  • ITIL Framework process knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Experience and desire to work on automation will be valuable in the long run.
  • Juniper product certifications (JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE) or industry equivalents are helpful.
  • Experience working in large enterprises or with network service providers is an added advantage.

BofA keeps buy rating on HPE stock ahead of Sept. 30 investor day, sees 40% upside

Bank of America has reiterated its buy rating on Hewlett Packard Enterprise ahead of the company's networking investor day on 30 September. Analyst Wamsi Mohan maintained an $88 price target, representing roughly 40% upside from recent levels. HPE shares have more than doubled this year following the company's $14 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks in July. The deal transformed networking into HPE's fastest-growing segment, with third-quarter networking revenue jumping 74.9% to $2.9 billion. Bank of America expects the data centre networking market to grow about 40% annually through 2030, up from HPE's earlier 15% estimate. The firm projects HPE's networking revenue will compound at 15% to 20% yearly. However, BofA's model shows free cash flow potentially dipping to $2.75 billion in fiscal 2028 as capital spending rises sharply.

HPE shares surge 4.5% on $1.2B Vultr AI deal and raised networking outlook

Hewlett Packard Enterprise shares jumped 4.5% on Wednesday after announcing a $1.2 billion AI systems deal with cloud provider Vultr and raising its networking revenue outlook. The agreement marks the first major order for AMD Helios AI Rack by HPE systems, which will be deployed across Vultr's US data centres. Each rack will integrate 72 AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs alongside HPE's purpose-built switching technology to support Vultr's AI cloud services. HPE also increased its fiscal 2027 networking revenue growth forecast to the high-teens to low-20s percentage range. The company projects data centre networking revenue will grow at a compound annual rate in the 50% range through fiscal 2029, whilst routing revenue is expected to increase in the low-to-high 20s range over the same period.

HPE lands first $1.2B AMD Helios order from Vultr to expand AI infrastructure

HPE shares rose over 4% in premarket trading Wednesday after announcing a $1.2 billion order from Vultr for AMD Helios AI Rack systems. The deal marks HPE's first order for the new AMD Helios system and will deploy the infrastructure across Vultr's US data centres. HPE is supplying networking infrastructure, liquid cooling, and deployment services for the systems. Each AMD Helios rack combines 72 AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs with AMD EPYC CPUs and networking cards. The order extends HPE's relationship with Vultr and Juniper Networks following HPE's 2025 acquisition of Juniper. Vultr CEO J.J. Kardwell said demand for high-performance AI infrastructure "continues to outpace available capacity." HPE stock has gained over 150% this year.

QuEra partners with HPE to integrate fault-tolerant quantum computing with on-premises HPC environments

QuEra Computing has partnered with HPE to integrate neutral-atom fault-tolerant quantum computing with on-premises high-performance computing environments powered by the HPE Cray supercomputing platform. The collaboration targets HPC centres, national laboratories, and enterprises. The partnership aligns with the US Department of Energy's Genesis Mission, which combines AI, supercomputing, quantum systems, and scientific instruments. QuEra and HPE will pursue integrated testbeds, hybrid algorithm co-design, and software interoperability. QuEra now offers two deployment routes: on-premises through HPE for sovereign workloads, and cloud access through a major cloud provider. Libra, QuEra's first fault-tolerant quantum computer featuring over 256 logical qubits, is targeted for cloud availability in 2028. Dell, Super Micro and HPE: AI server makers with strong buy ratings and surging demand

Dell Technologies, Super Micro Computer, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise are attracting investor interest as AI infrastructure demand surges.
