This role will report to the Assigning Editor for Travel.
Where you can make an impact:
- Write compelling travel rewards content: Craft articles that offer original insights on how readers can best use their points and miles from credit cards and airline/hotel loyalty programs.
- Shape content strategy: Experiment with new content types, optimize key pages and find innovative ways to engage our travel-hungry audience.
- Show strong thought leadership: Analyze industry trends, report on program changes and share your travel expertise.
- Collaborate with the team: Work closely with editors, fellow writers and the data quality team to maintain compliance and ensure our content remains fresh and informative.
- Be a travel reporter: Go on reporting trips and deliver articles based on firsthand experience. Write fast-turnaround stories when needed.
Your experience:

- 5+ years of editorial experience, with at least 3 years writing about travel rewards.
- Expert-level knowledge of credit card, airline and hotel loyalty programs.
- A demonstrated ability to write compelling, insightful articles.
- Passion for experimenting with different content formats, such as podcasts and video.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience taking ownership and driving results.
