As a Payroll Data Management Lead, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the maintenance and oversight of our payroll tax data management processes. Your attention to detail, organizational prowess, and commitment to timely project delivery will play a vital role in leading and keeping our operations running smoothly. In this role you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day work of the assigned team and make adjustments to work assignments as needed based on workload and team goals
- Ensure internal team documentation, training, and timely communication for process, system, and policy changes
- Monitor and report on team performance to the Manager on a regular basis and as part of the Talent Review process
- Resolve and prevent client escalations - improve client experience
- Monitor and report on challenges impacting the team to the Manager
- Ensure work is completed on time and accurately by the assigned team
- Support team members and other Payroll partners with questions and research
- Assist with process improvement and projects
- Assist with work completion as needed
- Participate in the interviewing and hiring process of team members
- Model the BHR values for the team
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Payroll Tax related experience
- Work with Tax Filing Team Lead to coordinate the transition of work to the Data Management team
- Well-versed in the work being done by the assigned team. Does not need to be a SME for the assigned function
- Review and update Data Management processes as necessary
- Has shown the ability to work well with people through work on projects, mentoring and/or training others
- Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Strong problem solving mindset
