Requirements
  • Use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
  • Be able to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested by customers.
  • Be flexible to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Be able to travel regularly, including occasional overnight travel.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness; maintain vehicle service records, scheduling, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Inspect equipment for wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Document jobs by completing paperwork and maintaining files, including daily time, progress, and duration.
  • Determine parts to order for repairs and the required timing.
  • Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment, and return unused resources.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Keep current on products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Read and interpret product specifications.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
