Industrial Cleaner/Production Cleaner
About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven.
- Must be able to lift 30–50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and reach, crouch, bend, and scrub.
- Must be available during regular operating hours and for occasional Saturday shifts as needed.
- Clean and inspect production equipment, including filling machines and compounding equipment such as tanks, homogenizers, pumps, pots, and stainless steel parts.
- Clean and inspect the production area.
- Support production activities by staging and preparing materials, including boxes and components.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure cleaning meets quality requirements.
- Maintain an organized and sanitary work environment.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines for production.
- Communicate with the supervisor throughout the day and shift priorities as needed on short notice.
- Help build a positive team dynamic by assisting peers and supervisors throughout the workday.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
