Requirements
  • At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department.
  • At least 1 year of semi-acute Registered Nurse experience.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, or an associate degree while enrolled in an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
  • A New York Registered Nurse license and registration.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
  • Triage, assess, prioritize, monitor, and manage overall care for emergent pediatric and adult cases.
  • Treat patients requiring critical care, rapid response codes, and trauma services in an American College of Surgeons Certified Level I Trauma Center.
  • Partner with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Advocate for patients and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety interventions, emotional support, and education.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Emergency Nurse certification.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course certification.
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse certification.
