Requirements
  • Experience within material control, inventory management, stores, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
  • A third-level qualification in Logistics, Materials Management, or a related discipline, or a Technical Support College Diploma / High School Diploma with significant relevant experience.
  • A relevant college certificate is typically expected.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and control the flow of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using enterprise resource planning and inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Production, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement and improve inventory control processes to minimise waste and prevent stock shortages.
  • Monitor material consumption and provide reports and insights to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Support forecasting activities and inventory optimisation initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for material receipts, transfers, and stock issues.
  • Complete BPSS security clearance as part of the onboarding process.
