Position: Professional Electrical Engineer-Lead (PE)

Job Location: Coeur d’Alene, ID; Spokane, WA; Kennewick, WA or other J-U-B office locations. 

The purpose of J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. We are recruiting a Professional Electrical Engineer-Lead to provide municipal and commercial system designs. Project types include water and wastewater pumping and treatment, SCADA and telemetry systems, street, pedestrian and roadway lighting, airports, commercial office buildings, parks and recreation, educational, healthcare, and financial facilities.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform project scoping, scheduling, and cost estimating
• Perform short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination studies
• Develop one-lines, plan drawings, cable schedules, interconnection drawings and schematics
• Interacts with contractors, clients, and facility operators
• Develop equipment specifications and construction specifications
• Provide field evaluation, electrical investigations and on-site construction support
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff
• Work and collaborate with the firm’s other engineering disciplines
• Support business development efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university, Master’s degree is a plus
• Licensed Professional Engineer with 4 or more years of experience after licensure
• Experience in design, construction management, startup, and commissioning services
• Ability to obtain technical information from various sources to implement designs and offer solutions
• Ability to develop and communicate technical information to clients 

Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000, depending on experience
