Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in technical project management or client delivery at a software services or consulting firm, owning plans, milestones, and engineering coordination across multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and/or MuleSoft sufficient to communicate credibly and identify when work is more difficult than estimated; deep architecture or implementation experience is not required.
  • Comfort working in a Kanban-style, agent-orchestrated model where daily status comes from a scrum agent and project health is tracked through a dashboard.
  • Ability to manage 15–20 active engagements and switch between them cleanly in a high-volume, high-context-switching environment.
  • Hands-on experience using artificial intelligence tools such as Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar in a day-to-day workflow.
Responsibilities
  • Own the client relationship as the primary point of contact from kickoff through closeout, communicating proactively and providing regular status updates.
  • Run up to 20 concurrent engagements, coordinating small engineering teams, tracking milestones, flagging risks, unblocking teams, and keeping work moving.
  • Run engagements from kickoff through hypercare, including kickoff, discovery sessions, functional requirements document review, user acceptance testing, and hypercare.
  • Author the functional requirements document with artificial intelligence, complete the first discovery within seven business days, clear open items before development starts, and issue weekly status reports every Monday.
  • Enforce scope discipline and route out-of-scope requests through a change request before work begins.
  • Use Claude to retrieve account and project context, produce client-facing artifacts, and keep Notion current as the system of record.
  • Act as the account-level point of contact for follow-on projects, managed services opportunities, and adjacent client problems, routing opportunities to sales.
  • Own customer satisfaction, scope control, change request compliance, invoice accuracy, collections timeliness, responsiveness, project portfolio health, executive reporting quality, discovery-to-build velocity, account expansion identification, and hypercare quality.
  • Partner with the Engineering team to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling, supporting, or delivering to small and mid-sized businesses, including law firms, professional services firms, or finance teams where the buyer is rarely the technical user.
  • Background in statement-of-work-driven engagements involving scope management, change requests, and project-based billing.
  • Experience as an Engagement Manager or Delivery Manager at a consulting or systems integration firm.

What believers are saying

  • September 2025 launch and 2026 careers posts show active expansion, not contraction.
  • 2026 case studies show customer wins in education and manufacturing with concrete outcomes.
  • The model targets fixed-price, faster delivery, attracting buyers fleeing slow SI firms.

What critics are saying

  • Green Irony depends on Salesforce and MuleSoft ecosystem demand; platform shifts can commoditize it.
  • A 11-50 employee firm faces execution risk if AI-native promises miss client deadlines.
  • If Agentforce and Salesforce services standardize delivery, Green Irony loses its core differentiation.

What makes Green Irony unique

  • Founded in 2016, Green Irony pairs senior U.S. architects with AI-powered delivery.
  • September 3, 2025 launch made Green Irony an AI-native Salesforce and MuleSoft partner.
  • Its Printing Press compresses MuleSoft and Salesforce projects into weeks, not months.
