Position Summary
The Wine Tracking and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for compliance and wine tracking activities associated with production operations. They will provide guidance and support to cross functional departments (winemaking, lab, bottling/cellar operations, finance, etc.) to ensure the winery is operating within mandated compliance regulations. This position provides wine tracking and financial duties that include inventory management and timely government reporting. The Wine Tracking and Compliance Coordinator is adaptable to change, goal oriented and operates with high integrity.
Responsibilities
Track and maintain real-time status of wine movements / inventory including calculating measures and movements to determine losses or gains within 24 hours of completions
Post all work orders for bottling and cellar in timely manner
Ensure integrity of data within reporting databases in enterprise software and departmental spreadsheets such as:
Vintrace
SAP
Production material receipts
Bulk wine movement
Chemical inventory lot codes
Harvest log
Bottling log
Reconcile and maintain records, wine transactions and compositions
Review lab analysis inputs and update errors as needed, particularly across tax classes
Responsible for tank inventory reconciliation, responsible for fiscal year-end inventory and reconciliation of both tanks and barrels
Conducts or assists with investigations regarding work order discrepancies
Produce and verify all monthly reports including monthly bulk premise reports (TTB filings)
Assists with internal and external regulatory audits and periodic filings
Schedule bulk wine shipments, create BOLs, and maintain interplant shipments and intraplant shipments in regulation
Generates Vintrace reports as needed
Manage scalehouse to keep up with bulk wine shipping and grape receiving
Follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team member’s safety
Minimum Qualifications
Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, E-mail
Ability to adapt to various software environments
Experience in populating and managing database systems, including report generation
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, weights and volume, applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Able to exercise fiscal responsibility, within established budgetary constraints
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good teamwork and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and adjust to changing timelines, set priorities on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a team environment and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the company’s values of exhibiting the highest quality standards in all endeavors
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of current inventory systems (Vintrace and SAP)
Understanding of wine processes
Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Works on wet surfaces
Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.

The salary range for this role is:
$23.77 - $33.51
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
