Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of medium to highly complex Finance projects, identifying key business stakeholders and leading definition of the business case, objectives, scope, resources, expected benefits, and outcomes.
  • Communicate project outcomes and benefits across the organization with the Project Sponsor to build support and buy-in.
  • Create and maintain high-quality project plans, including risk mitigation strategies, and work packages that assign responsibilities to project resources.
  • Evaluate delivery options and team performance, provide feedback where necessary, and regularly adjust plans against scope, schedule, budget, risks, outcomes, and benefits.
  • Forecast future change and business-as-usual resources required for the project.
  • Direct and support the project team to deliver required benefits and outcomes within agreed tolerances for time, cost, quality, scope, benefit, and risk.
  • Conduct lessons-learned sessions throughout the project, implement agreed recommendations, and share lessons with the broader Project Management community.
  • Follow governance standards, including the Project Change Standard and guidelines, and maintain accurate RACI and RAID logs and ServiceNow records.
  • Produce timely management information and ensure required documentation—including business cases, requirements documents and user stories, stage gates, test plans, change requests, and closure documents—is completed and signed off at the appropriate stages; establish additional governance as project complexity requires.
  • Forecast future external costs, understand project cost variance drivers, control costs to budget, or raise change control.
  • Monitor and report progress to impacted stakeholders, including sponsors, program managers, Change Programme Directors, and steering committees, and monitor ongoing business-case viability.
  • Identify and own issues, risks, and dependencies; recommend mitigations or issue resolution; escalate as appropriate; and act as an escalation point for the Project Sponsor.
  • Complete handover to business as usual and carry out business benefits-realization activities to close projects.
  • Manage resource planning and motivate the project team to maintain high standards and customer satisfaction, developing others through ongoing guidance, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Manage relationships with Technology teams, external suppliers, and other business functions to achieve timely delivery.
  • Assist the Programme Manager/Director and Change Programme Director with interviewing and hiring resources.
  • Support the Lead Programme Management Officer in establishing appropriate governance and ensuring the Project Change Standard is applied.
  • Conduct training workshops for Project Managers to improve project and change management capabilities across the Project Management team.
  • Share project and change management disciplines across the wider business to improve change capability.
  • Mentor and coach project team members to improve delivery effectiveness and support their personal development.

UK's Envisics closes Series C at $105M to accelerate AR holographic heads-up display tech

Milton Keynes-based Envisics announced it closed its Series C funding round at $100M (approximately €93M). The dynamic holographic technology company previously secured $50M in March, led by Hyundai Mobis, with participation from InMotion Ventures and Stellantis Ventures. M&G Investments led the latest tranche, with existing investor Van Tuyl Companies participating. The funds will accelerate product development and international expansion. Envisics develops holographic technologies for augmented reality heads-up displays (AR-HUDs) in vehicles. The technology projects information onto windscreens whilst adapting to ambient light changes and consuming 50 per cent less power than conventional systems. The company's investor roster now includes Tarsadia Investments, GM Ventures, Hyundai Mobis, InMotion Ventures, Stellantis Ventures, SAIC Motors, Van Tuyl Companies, and M&G Investment.

M&G Investments launches $2.1B investment grade bond fund maturing in 2031

M&G Investments has launched the M&G (Lux) Fixed Maturity Bond Fund IG 2031, a five-year actively managed fixed-maturity bond fund designed to offer access to euro-denominated income. The strategy will invest at least 60% of its portfolio in investment grade government and corporate debt securities to maintain an average BBB rating, whilst the remaining 40% will be allocated to high-yield bonds. The fund will selectively use credit default swaps to enhance the portfolio's return profile. The fund will be actively managed with a "buy and watch" approach by M&G's co-head of Macro Credit Stefan Isaacs, alongside Matthew Russell, Carlo Putti, and Anjulie Rusius. This launch expands M&G's fixed-maturity bond fund range, which has attracted €1.9 billion across eight launches over the past three years.

M&G Investments leads $17M funding round for Hivemind Digital Group to accelerate tokenization infrastructure

Hivemind Digital Group has closed a $17 million funding round led by M&G Investments to accelerate its tokenization infrastructure development and expand frontier technology investing capabilities. The round included participation from CPIC Investment Management (HK), ZA Bank, FalconX, Sonic Boom Ventures, and board members and former executives from Man Group, Apollo Global Management, Coinbase, Citi, First Citizens Bank, and GoldenTree Asset Management. Founded in 2021, Hivemind manages assets at the intersection of traditional and digital markets. The company plans to deploy capital into tokenization opportunities across asset classes and expand institutional partnerships globally. As part of the investment, Alex Seddon, Head of Impact and Private Equity at M&G Investments, joined Hivemind's Board of Directors. M&G has £371 billion in assets under management as of 31 March 2026.
