Internship Program

This is a full-time, paid internship based out of our headquarters in San Ramon, CA. This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in office is required. The program runs 11 weeks with the opportunity to start in early or mid-June.

The ideal candidate should be studying an IT development, computer science or similar degree and have extensive development experience with JavaScript, C#, Python, and other API technologies. In addition, they should know the installation, configuration, platform operations, and troubleshooting of API products. They should also have experience in API design, coding standards and best practice principles and  use of RESTful APIS.

As a key contributor to the Professional Services Team, we are looking for a passionate, self-managed individual who can work well with a cohesive team to help us delight our customers and grow our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing web-based tooling to support the use of RESTful services and APIs
• Apply the latest software design techniques and contribute to the technical design of new internal tooling.
• Troubleshoot issues and solve problems, identify potential process improvement areas.
• Implement common APIs based on architecture guidelines and frameworks.
• Write object-oriented, clean, and maintainable code.
• Deliver quality results on time with minimal supervision.

Key Requirements:

• Rising college senior or above, pursuing a bachelor's degree or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
• Hands-on experience in building MVC based web applications using JSP/Struts framework.
• Hands-on experience in web services-RESTful
• Knowledge of Restful API design patterns
• Experience using a development IDE such as VSCode or IntelliJ
• Experience using Git or an equivalent source control system
• Experience in using integration technologies such as REST and SOAP

Desired skills

• Familiarity with code versioning tools, like Git, SVN, and Mercurial
• Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, and Bootstrap
• Passionate about learning new tools, languages, philosophies, and workflows.
