About the job

Requirements
  • Expert-level ability to work with AI and vibe coding, demonstrated through functioning websites, tools, automations, or dashboards built by the candidate.
  • Experience leading B2C or e-commerce with accountability for business results, not only a channel or campaigns.
  • Experience selling online to individual consumers through e-commerce, subscriptions, or consumer applications, with hands-on understanding of funnels, retention, and customer economics based on the candidate's own data.
  • Ability to analyze business performance using cohorts rather than relying only on monthly averages.
  • Demonstrated ability to launch initiatives from scratch.
  • Ability to calculate and analyze the business's performance independently, without waiting for the controlling team.
Responsibilities
  • Own the performance of the entire B2C business, including revenue, margin, and budget, across out-of-pocket doctor visits, subscriptions, medical plans, laboratory tests, and diagnostics.
  • Set the product offering and prices, deciding what is sold, to whom, and at what price based on cohort data.
  • Monitor cohorts, including who purchased, who returned, who churned, and where they dropped off.
  • Build the customer loop from the first visit to subsequent purchases and subscriptions to encourage patient retention.
  • Work continuously through hypothesis, prototype, implementation, measurement, and iteration.
  • Build needed landing pages, funnels, experiments, internal tools, and dashboards using AI.
  • Make decisions based on data.
  • Introduce new B2C products, from demand testing through scaling.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in health technology or medical services is a plus, but not required.

About the company

Telemedi provides a digital health platform for telemedicine, offering online consultations, e-prescriptions, and sick leave documents to patients. It serves insurance and travel-assistance clients, enabling their customers to access doctors across multiple specializations from anywhere and in eight languages. The platform can be delivered as a white-label solution, so partners can integrate Telemedi’s capabilities into their own platforms. Its goal is to help insurers and travel-assistance providers offer reliable, multilingual remote medical care to customers worldwide under their own brand.

What believers are saying

  • UNIQA said in 2024 Telemedi processes around 70,000 medical enquiries monthly.
  • Mavie rolled Telemedi into Austria, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, and Bosnia in 2024.
  • Telemedi is hiring AI and GTM engineers in 2026, signaling active product expansion.

What critics are saying

  • Telemedi depends on Mavie for strategy; control shifts away from founder Pawel Sieczkiewicz.
  • Telemedicine reimbursement rules remain political; any Poland or Austria restriction hits bookings immediately.
  • Insurers can switch vendors quickly, and white-label commoditization crushes pricing by 2027.

What makes Telemedi unique

  • Telemedi’s B2B white-label model embeds telemedicine into insurers and assistance platforms.
  • Mavie’s 2023 majority stake gave Telemedi distribution into Austria and CEE.
  • Telemedi offers 24/7 multilingual consultations, prescriptions, and sick leave across several countries.
