Requirements
A technical degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installations, or a related field is required.
At least 3–4 years of proven experience in electrical installations, construction, or maintenance is required.
Proven experience as an electrician is required; hotel, resort, or large commercial/building facility experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, electrical panels, generators, electrical motors, and pumps is required.
Experience in fault finding, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical installations and equipment is required.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams is required.
Basic knowledge of electrical automation and control systems is required.
A good understanding of electrical safety standards and safe working practices is required.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are required.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations and equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, and common areas.
Maintain lighting systems, power distribution panels, generators, UPS, and emergency systems.
Ensure proper operation of electrical equipment used in kitchens and food and beverage outlets.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and electrical regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and technical reports.
Coordinate with the engineering/maintenance team and external contractors when required.
Support energy efficiency initiatives and cost-saving measures.
Assist during renovations, upgrades, and new installations.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of hospitality and food and beverage operational requirements is an advantage.
Experience working in hotel or large-scale building installations is an advantage.
