Medical Interpreter
About the job
- High-level fluency in the target language.
- Knowledge of medical and social services terminology.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and ethics codes.
- At least 40 hours of formal interpreter training or interpreter certification.
- Fluency test scores in both English and Spanish at a minimum of ILR 3 or above.
- Perform freelance onsite medical interpreting assignments as an independent contractor.
- Medical interpreting experience is highly preferred.
