Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant aerospace experience and/or training in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a United States Person, defined as a United States citizen, a permanent resident who does not work for a foreign company, foreign government, foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee.
  • Solid understanding of AS9100-certified manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of Boeing specifications, drawings, manufacturing standards, and digital product definition processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes related to aircraft interior materials and components.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common project management applications.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands to lift or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds, and have close/color vision ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to work outside core business hours as required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary quality point of contact between Boeing and Greenpoint Technologies for assigned programs, coordinating client quality issues, requirements, deliverables, and communications.
  • Communicate Boeing quality requirements, specifications, procedural updates, and customer expectations to appropriate Greenpoint personnel and support compliance with applicable Code of Federal Regulations, AS9100 requirements, Boeing specifications, and program-specific quality requirements.
  • Own Boeing-issued nonconformance reports and corrective actions by assessing status and risks, determining next steps, coordinating Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other resources, and driving timely disposition and closure.
  • Lead and participate in Boeing and Greenpoint quality reviews, audits, technical discussions, and program meetings; support Boeing onsite visits and technical reviews as needed.
  • Evaluate customer findings and recurring quality issues, facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action development, determine appropriate actions and resources to address identified risks, review technical information, and coordinate accurate corrective action responses and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates to Boeing supplier/customer quality portals and systems, including nonconformance reports, corrective actions, quality deliverables, and supporting documentation.
  • Track Boeing-required deliverables and commitments and escalate overdue actions or significant risks as appropriate.
  • Interpret Boeing quality requirements and program expectations and determine appropriate Greenpoint actions to support compliance and customer commitments.
  • Evaluate nonconformance report and corrective action trends, identify significant quality or program risks, determine when escalation is warranted, and recommend corrective or preventive actions to management.
  • Maintain regular attendance, arrive on time, and work full shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
