About the job
- Previous tire experience is preferred, although motivated individuals may be trained.
- Working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services, and wheels is an asset.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers.
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms.
- Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
- Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems.
- Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Complete specialty tire work, which may include studding, retreading, run-flat service, and nitrogen service.
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts.
- Maintain personal and coworker safety.
- Previous tire experience.
