Requirements
  • Have 7–12+ years of experience in business development or sales managing complex channel partnerships and/or B2B healthcare, ideally at a leading digital health company.
  • Have strong B2B2C, B2B, or enterprise experience and be able to manage an end-to-end sales cycle for strategic enterprise accounts, including financial modeling and legal negotiation.

Judi Health taps Color Health, WellTheory, Cylinder for clinical ecosystem. Judi Health expanded its healthcare network to offer specialized virtual care for cancer, autoimmune and GI conditions while helping employers reduce overall healthcare costs. Judi Health, a health technology company and benefits administrator, announced Thursday that it has expanded its clinical ecosystem to include Color Health, WellTheory and Cylinder. New York-based Judi Health, previously known as Capital Rx, offers solutions for employers, unions, health plans and government entities. Its Unified Claims Processing solution supports programs for pharmacy, medical, vision and dental benefits and allows plan sponsors to add condition-specific support. Judi Health's clinical ecosystem offers access to specialized, condition-specific programs that customers can choose from. Through the clinical ecosystem, Color Health will offer access to cancer care through its virtual ASCO-certified clinic. WellTheory will provide virtual care for more than 100 autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, while Cylinder will offer on-demand gastrointestinal care. Cylinder was recently acquired by virtual musculoskeletal provider Hinge Health. presented by Healthcare payments are no longer about transactions. It's about controlling the revenue cycle. "When selecting partners, we look for conditions like cancer, autoimmune disease, and GI where medical and pharmacy spending are deeply interconnected, because that's the only place the full cost of care becomes visible," said Sara Izadi, chief clinical officer at Judi Health, in an email. "These are areas where pharmacy data alone provides an incomplete picture of both the patient experience and the true cost of care. These companies have achieved meaningful results, according to the announcement. Color Health has been shown to increase cancer screening rates by up to 77%, and more than 85% of Cylinder members report symptom improvement within 90 days. WellTheory has achieved 64% fewer emergency room visits among its members. Existing clinical ecosystem partners include Sword Health for virtual musculoskeletal care and Progyny for fertility, maternity and menopause services. The announcement comes as employers anticipate that healthcare cost trends will increase by a median 9.2% in 2027, according to a recent survey from the Business Group on Health. The findings, released during Autoimmune Awareness Month, reveal how autoimmune disease is quietly reshaping the workplace - and the urgent need for care models that better support those with chronic conditions. Stalled careers, lost potential. 70% of working women with an autoimmune condition say that their career potential has suffered, and 68% report they've experienced negative effects at work since being diagnosed. For many women with autoimmune diseases, career decisions aren't just about growth - they're about survival. 68% have stayed at a job because they needed health insurance, and 76% reported experiencing financial strain due to their condition. Today, WellTheory, a care platform for individuals with autoimmune disease, announced a partnership with delivery provider Instacart to address inequities in access to anti-inflammatory and nutritious food. The newly formed partnership will integrate Instacart Health's Fresh Funds program with WellTheory's platform, providing patients with an opportunity to leverage the grocery delivery giant's technology to purchase recommended food to improve their health. Last month, WellTheory announced that it raised $14 million as a part of a Series A round led by VC giant General Catalyst. The platform aims to provide holistic and longitudinal care for patients with autoimmune disease by working with employer based plans, but also provides individuals support through the platform for 1:1 dietitian consults, personalized care and success plans, easy-to-access appointments, and a variety of testing to understand and treat symptoms. In working with employers, the company indicates that it can provide upto $9400 in savings per member, per year, with a 64% reduction in emergency room visit costs and with 91% of patients reporting relief. Now, with access to Instacart's program, nearly 300,000 patients in WellTheory's network will be able to access grocery stipends to purchase clinically recommended foods directly through Instacart, ensuring accessibility, convenience and health. Furthermore, given Instacart's widespread reach throughout the US, this program will benefit people across communities of all sizes and locations. Claire Rudolph, co-founder and head of product at WellTheory, explains that food is one of the most important aspects of the autoimmune journey, and the goal with this partnership is to decrease as much friction as possible in providing people with the nutrition they need. Sarah Mastrorocco, vice president and general manager of health at Instacart, agreed with this sentiment, commenting that Instacart's mission is to improve access to timely groceries and foster convenience for communities. With the integration of these two organizations, hundreds of thousands of people will benefit. Because the prevalence of autoimmune disease is rising. Per an article by Molly Murray, president and CEO of the Autoimmune Association, "The rising prevalence of autoimmune disease is a concerning trend that underscores the urgent need for increased advocacy, awareness, education, and research." Murray also discusses that autoimmune diseases often do not have cures, meaning that patients have to manage lifestyle factors, such as environmental exposures and diet, incredibly strictly. In fact, many studies have indicated that diets are a central aspect of triggering autoimmune conditions in individuals and that nutrition management is one of the key means by which conditions can be managed. Generally speaking, given the increasing rates of autoimmune conditions, more companies have emerged that are trying to address this patient population. For example, kyverna is a pharmaceutical company that is developing cell therapies specifically for patients with autoimmune conditions. Attune Health is another that is focusing on autoimmune care and research. Healthcare organizations are also realizing that these patients require more tailored care than the general population; hence, many are investing in specialty clinics, such as for rheumatology, with dedicated staff to address disease-specific needs. The work in this space is just getting started. With nearly 15 million people impacted by autoimmune diseases in the US alone, more awareness, resources and research are imperative for this area.
