Naval ILS Engineer 1 - Configuration Control
About the job
- An engineering degree, preferably in Naval or Maritime Engineering.
- More than 3 years of experience in logistics configuration management for naval defense programs, such as frigates, submarines, or warships.
- Experience developing and maintaining the Configured Items Tree (AEC).
- Experience controlling changes and modifications in naval systems, according to the AJAL Permanent Maintenance Instruction or equivalent NATO procedures.
- Experience validating and auditing configuration in regulated environments, including STANAG 4177 and STANAG 4438.
- Experience integrating logistics information systems, including EOLO-IACV, Windchill, CONFI, and PDCO.
- Experience with NATO cataloging (NOC/NSN) and logistics database management, including NMRCL and SICAD.
- Experience with EOLO IACV, Windchill, SICAD, Enterprise Architect, or Bizagi.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Maintain and update the hierarchical structure of the ship's systems and equipment in the Configured Items Tree (AEC).
- Ensure alignment with the Material Nomenclature and technical documentation, including drawings and manuals.
- Evaluate the logistics impacts of Official Change Proposals (POC).
- Manage the traceability of modifications in critical systems, including propulsion, combat, and communications systems.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement to implement changes without affecting operability.
- Perform internal configuration audits and prepare documentation for external audits.
- Load and validate data in Windchill and EOLO-IACV.
- Ensure interoperability between information systems, including PDCO, CONFI, and GLPI.
- Prepare configuration deviation reports and generate configuration-control records.
- Keep logistics configuration documentation up to date.
- Naval or Maritime Engineering degree.
