Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
  • Have at least 2 years of critical-care experience.
  • Complete the basic immunization training (10 hours) through the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ).
  • Hold an attestation for the course “La Tuberculose au Nunavik - Notions de base” (1 hour 30 minutes) available on the ENA platform.
  • Be available for the entire duration of the selected contract mandate.
  • Provide an up-to-date résumé.
Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical nursing care in a northern dispensary to the local community.
  • Assess patients' health, provide clinical follow-up, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Respond independently to clinical emergencies during rotating shifts.
  • Apply the immunization and public-health protocols in effect in the Nunavik region.
