- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, receive orders, stock and face products, adapt to change quickly, and multitask.
- Be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op.
- Ask customers about their needs and help them make purchases.
- Escort customers to the appropriate aisle or shelf to assist with purchasing decisions.
- Provide customer service.
- Ensure the store is clean, safe, and orderly.
- Stock and replace products to avoid damage.
- Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products.
- Prepare store displays and ensure products are accurately labeled.
- Order out-of-stock products.
- Process customer orders and payments.
- Discard expired items and place near-expiry items on special promotions.
- Receive products.
- Open availability is preferred.
- Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail and good communication and people skills are desired.
- Patience and the ability to resolve customer issues are valued.
