About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of food and beverage department experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Management experience is required.
  • Communication ability in Japanese and English is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute hotel-wide food and beverage strategies and action plans.
  • Oversee operations for restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining.
  • Manage and improve service quality to increase guest satisfaction.
  • Plan and introduce new menus and services based on market trends and customer needs.
  • Ensure service delivery and quality control in line with brand standards.
  • Set revenue targets for the food and beverage department and drive initiatives to achieve them.
  • Analyze revenue and profitability across outlets and banquet operations, and develop improvement measures.
  • Manage profit and loss and control costs.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts and monitor progress.
  • Optimize food, beverage, and labor costs to maximize profitability.
  • Lead, develop, and evaluate the food and beverage department team.
  • Maximize team performance and improve engagement.
  • Develop hiring plans and secure talent.
  • Advance training and career development.
  • Promote effective communication within the department and across other departments.
  • Serve VIP guests and other important customers.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements.
  • Coordinate guest-attraction initiatives with sales and marketing.
  • Build positive relationships with the local community and business partners.
  • Create food and beverage experiences that enhance the hotel's brand value.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene practices and food safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Oversee inventory and purchasing management.
  • Manage operations in accordance with brand standards.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and data management.
