  • Demonstrated success developing and closing complex, high-impact partnerships with large financial institutions or enterprise customers.
  • Experience building a new business, market, customer segment, or go-to-market motion rather than solely operating within an established sales organization.
  • Strong knowledge of how banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, fintechs, payments companies, or other financial institutions evaluate and adopt new technologies.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including developing multi-year strategies and personally leading partner meetings and negotiations.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to evaluate opportunities based on strategic value, customer impact, economics, and likelihood of execution.
  • Track record of product fluency, uncovering underlying needs in partner requests and translating external feedback for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Executive presence and ability to build credibility with senior leaders at sophisticated financial institutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including simplifying complex market, technical, and commercial concepts.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure.
  • Experience with crypto, decentralized finance, tokenization, stablecoins, quantitative trading, or other emerging technology infrastructure.
  • Experience working across both traditional financial institutions and high-growth technology organizations.
  • Experience building or leading small, high-performing growth teams.
  • A strong network across banks, fintechs, payments companies, asset managers, trading firms, or related financial institutions.
  • Experience bringing a technical or emerging product from an early-adopter market to more established enterprise or institutional customers.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute institutional strategy, identifying novel use cases, bespoke market structures, partnerships, and pathways to greater adoption where Uniswap complements financial institutions.
  • Develop institutional go-to-market motions, from segmentation and positioning to pipeline development, commercial models, and partner success, supporting internal and external development.
  • Source, negotiate, and lead strategic partnerships with banks, asset managers, funds, and others, leveraging existing and organizational networks.
  • Expand adoption and business outcomes by owning institutional growth goals and identifying opportunities for volume, distribution, and mutual success.
  • Translate market signals into company strategy by understanding institutional customer needs, market structure, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends, and synthesizing insights into recommendations for product roadmap, growth strategy, and partnership priorities.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to represent institutional partner needs, develop business cases for new opportunities, and evaluate requirements to unlock adoption.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives as the business directly responsible individual for high-priority institutional opportunities, coordinating stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Policy, Marketing, Finance, and other teams from idea through deal closing.
  • Represent Uniswap with senior leaders across traditional finance, fintech, payments, and digital asset departments, building long-term relationships and shaping the future of financial markets.

About the Company

Uniswap

Decentralized crypto trading protocol on Ethereum

Uniswap is a decentralized finance platform on the Ethereum blockchain that lets people trade cryptocurrencies directly from their wallets, provide liquidity to pools, and let developers build on its protocol. Trades use automated market maker pools, and each trade pays a small fee that goes to liquidity providers, who earn by contributing capital. Unlike centralized exchanges, it runs as a permissionless, on-chain protocol with open governance and liquidity pools, and it works with partners to reach more users. The goal is to offer open, trust-minimized crypto trading and liquidity, grow the DeFi ecosystem, and support developers building on its protocol.
