As an Emerging Talent Intern, you can expect to be given the space and the opportunity to build upon your skills and knowledge, while contributing to critical work as part of a core team.  

What you get to do:   

• Creating product documentation for end users and system administrators   
• Learning to author in a variety of environments, primarily DITA/XML   
• Researching, writing, and ensuring the accuracy of content that covers current and future releases of our product   
• Working closely with development teams in an Agile environment   
• Conducting peer reviews of documentation   
• Collaborating with other information developers to produce and share content for different types of deliverables (blogs, product documentation, knowledge base, video)   

Program Details:   

• 6-month program:  
  • Start Date: July 8, 2024 
  • End Date: December 13, 2024 
  • Full time 40 hrs/week  
• Benefits – health benefits, 401k, etc. 
• Hourly competitive pay, based on experience  
• Location: Open to all locations in the United States (Remote and onsite)  
  • Relocation stipend offered, if applicable

Qualifications

***Actively enrolled university students, or recent university graduates (May 2023-Present), are not eligible. Internships and new college graduate roles are posted on our careers page, if available ***  

Seeking career changers and/or emerging talent:We are looking for aspiring talent that has passion for Technical Writing with minimal relevant job experience, and who is eager to learn! 

• Self-taught, certification/bootcamp, and community college graduates from liberal arts and writing backgrounds, are highly encouraged to apply   
• Ability to commit full-time during program dates   
• Position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship    
• Have the ability to understand and learn technical products and concepts   
• Passionate about creating content   
• Experience working in markup languages such as DITA, HTML, XML, or SGML, is a plus   
• Have the ability to obtain information through research, interviews, and experimentation   
• Interact collaboratively with peers from different cultural backgrounds, beliefs, opinions, and views   
• Ability to provide writing samples demonstrating your ability to research, analyze, and apply critical thinking to a subject, sample web pages or other multimedia communications project

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $28 - $35, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
