Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Design or another related major.
  • At least 2 years of tradeshow and/or showroom visual merchandising experience.
  • Experience working for a luxury brand in home furnishings.
  • Strong working knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Suite is beneficial.
  • Ability to work proactively and figure things out with little direction.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and complete tasks with a positive and mature attitude.
  • Ability to anticipate future needs without direction from upper management.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, analyze, and adjust seasonal showroom floor plans in designated markets.
  • Lay out multiple product stock-keeping units before tradeshow or showroom setup and execute visual layouts based on available and arriving inventory.
  • Analyze product sales to feature best-selling products and determine which products to add to or remove from showroom and tradeshow inventory.
  • Partner with the Visual Merchandising Manager and Visual Construction Manager to recognize and address brand presentation in designated markets.
  • Contribute to and design new merchandising strategies with a brand-specific focus.
  • Develop and source displays and fixtures when applicable.
  • Assist with managing and coordinating labor and freight for showrooms and tradeshows related to visual presentation.
  • Work with the visual team to order graphics, logos, and other collateral as necessary.
  • Size logos and photos and interface with printers or outside graphics companies.
  • Assist with occasional operational tasks related to tradeshow and showroom setup, such as barcoding and tagging product displays.
