Responsibilities
  • Conduct research experiments within the predetermined research scope and methodology of the department and university.
  • Document research results for use in project sponsor status reports and publications and assist in the acquisition of supplemental and/or ongoing funding for current and future research projects, travel grants, and/or foundation awards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and distribute information for meetings, conferences, and publications and conduct occasional meetings with project sponsor personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferred applicants will have, or be close to completing, a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong candidates will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: microfluidics, instrumentation engineering, nanomaterials, rheology, formulations, and in vitro testing.
