About the company

Candid Health automates revenue cycle management for healthcare providers. Its platform monitors the billing and insurance-collection process, detects issues that slow or block payments, and automatically flags and fixes problems to optimize collections. The product integrates with both custom and commercial healthcare IT systems via APIs to fit into existing workflows, and is offered on a subscription basis. This combination of automated issue detection, auto-remediation, and seamless integration distinguishes it from competitors by focusing on reducing manual billing effort and improving cash flow. The company’s goal is to help healthcare providers increase payment capture rates and shorten the time to reimbursement.

What believers are saying

  • 2026 ARR grew 190% year over year, signaling strong demand.
  • Candid posted 180% net dollar retention in 2025, showing expansion inside accounts.
  • Denver office expansion and 200 employees indicate a fast-scaling product and sales engine.

What critics are saying

  • Epic, Waystar, and Optum can bundle billing tools into existing provider contracts quickly.
  • Oncology reimbursements depend on payer rules; Flatiron integration concentrates execution risk in one specialty.
  • If ARR growth stalls after the 2026 raise, hiring pressure and burn threaten independence.

What makes Candid Health unique

  • Autonomous RCM targets touchless claims, not only workflow software, from Candid's 2026 materials.
  • Flatiron Health partnership opens oncology distribution through a specialty EHR network.
  • 2026 Series D from Sixth Street Growth valued Candid three times higher than 2025.
