Requirements
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance from university/college required; CPA required, audit experience highly preferred
  • 5-7 years professional accounting experience with a large public accounting firm and/or as practitioner within a business
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP concepts and financial reporting
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to accounting projects designed to mature processes & systems as well as improve scalability of the business
  • Support annual audit procedures and external sales tax calculation
  • Work directly with production facility personnel to record property plant & equipment additions and track depreciation within ERP
  • Partner with functional leads to investigate financial statement variances vs budget as part of month end close processes
  • Refine approach for calculating unit economics and margin
  • Collaborate with HR and functional leads to process payroll and optimize processing procedures
  • Validate monthly expense reports
  • Assist in the processing of invoices and maintenance of accounts payable accounts
