Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance. MBA or CPA is a plus
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in an FP&A role/Finance operations role, preferably in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
  • Result-oriented individual with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Data-driven with great attention to accuracy and to details
  • Experience building relationships with all stakeholders and working with senior leaders
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with accounting and planning & budgeting tools is a plus (E.g., NetSuite, NSPB)
  • Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools is a plus (E.g., Microsoft Power BI)
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve financial and operational dashboards for the ProtoCos and NewCos, and for the origination teams: cash position, cash burn, future investment and headcount
  • Collaborate with PBU Finance teams to monitor companies’ cash runway vs. scientific progress, develop the financial forecasts, evaluate scenarios and assess fund-raising options
  • Provide analytical support to Long-Range Planning and valuation efforts
  • Provide detailed variance analysis of actual vs. budget/forecast for the PBU departments
  • Support management with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
